Heaven and Earth

Delicate round gold-dipped pendant tapered at the edges for dimensionality and accented with peridot.

In many Asian cultures, the circle represents the union between heaven and earth, sun and moon. The yin yang symbol is circular, and represents unity and balance.  Ancient people observed a circular aspect to the cycles of time, the movements of the seasons, and the revolutions of the earth around the sun.  Circles are also used to represent a protective boundary which no evil or enemy may cross.
